Hi Everyone! It's time to start planning our 20 year reunion for the weekend of August 1 & 2, 2009. We've designed this blog to keep everyone updated on the plans and are looking for your input on the schedule of events.
We hope you'll use the Blog as a tool to keep in touch for the next several months. Please start by responding to the poll questions that are posted now. We are also looking for contact information for classmates that we may not have heard from yet. Please use the comment feature to give us your suggestions, or you can e-mail us.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone next summer and reconnecting in the process. GO SPARTANS!!

Eddy & Christi,
Thanks for heading this up. I am ready to help! Love the Friday / Saturday idea for the reunion. Will look for conference call information.
Thanks!
Annette
Eddy, those pics are great. I love the hall decorating one. Isn't that our Junior year when we beat the seniors!!!!?!!!
If anyone is interested in helping please email either me or Eddy! We'd love to catch up with you and put ya to work!!!
I'm ready to help...just let me know what I can do!
Let's do it in Vegas. I live here and we have plenty of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment here.
I teach High School French in a wonderful school here in Vegas. It seems like most people left Sacramento. ( I cant blame them)
Vegas would be a sweet place to have it, and airfare is affordable as well. I can help any way possible. What happens in Vegas, stays in Sac.
Peace Out
Ronny Hoffman
SJ 89
I am on Facebook as well
Ronnie you're a nut. But I'm lovin the Vegas idea. Just got back from there a couple of weeks ago. Love that place but it takes my money!
Here is what we should do for our 20th...
I say we take a tour of the world's famous Denio's Famers Market in the morning ( we all know the song, so shut up) followed by a visit to Cal Worthington Chevrolet ( we must go see Cal right)and dinner at Round Table Pizza (A Sacramento gastronomic must) ; and have desert at Leatherbys (a Citrus Heights landmark), followed by a Kings game. After the game, we can rent a building at Birdcage walk and dance to music from FM 102. I think this is everything to do in Sac right?
I vote for Vegas............
Au Revoir.......
Hey Ronny,
Don't forget that we need to cruise Birdcage first and then go to Tower Records to get the new Madonna or Duran Duran LP.
We still hope you can make it to Sac for the reunion like the rest of us.
We will see if Nogales or Jimboys can cater the event. Now I know I pique your interest.
Look at that, I also delivered to you a French word.
Hey Eddy and Christi,
Thank you guys so much for organizing this!
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help!
Thanks,
Peggie (Cheong) Bennett
Sounds great. This was a great way to communicate with everyone and it really helps when you are at a distance. For me that is in Alabama. I have been away from Sacramento since the early 90's so I am looking forward to planning a trip back there.
Some of these make me laugh :) I do love Vegas, but you wouldn't be able to get me to stop gambling long enough to talk to anyone :) I think our classmates will be enough entertainment for me even if we are in Eddy's garage :)
and besides I only get Round Table and Jimboys when I go back to Cali, for me that is a GREAT reason to have it in Sac!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Hard to believe 20 years...Damn, I feel old. I am ready and willing to help with anything needed. Just let me know.
Roll call check, Susan Siska....here.
I vote for cuisin' in our low rider mini truck's at sunrise mall on Friday night with our bass turned up as high as it will go and then we could go dancing at Water World USA's Beach Club.
Wow! I am definitely seeing some names triggering memories! Count me as here! Tonja (Olson) Tallent (Yeah, yeah, I have heard it all about my married name...trust me, if I had had a choice...LOL)
I'm thrilled that someone has taken the time to organize a reunion!! I am in So. Cal.(Westlake Village) now and not sure what I can do to help but I would be happy to!
So mark me as here!
Thanks!
Christine
Hey Christine... Great to hear from you... can you forward your email and other info to Eddy or Lisa? Eddy's email is on the first page of blog!
Vegas, yeah. Good call. That way we can leave our children alone in the hotel rooms while we party. I won't tell if you don't. Even though a lot of people have moved away from Sacramento they probably still have family or friends there that would be willing to help with this sort of thing. Grandparents wanting to see their grandkids, etc. I think Sacramento can handle this reunions food, lodging and entertainment needs for a weekend.
